The Patent Office of the Republic of Poland and the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued a decision to grant a patent for the invention titled “Adhesive for dentures” (PL 239 654, US 10,973,741).
The creators of the invention are: Magdalena Wiejak, Hanna Tomaszewska, Mateusz Olszewski, Maciej Frydryszak.
The subject of the invention is an adhesive for dentures, which consists of pharmaceutical glycerin 99.5% in an amount of 29-31% by weight, monopropyl glycol in an amount of 27-29% by weight, purified water in an amount of 22-24% by weight, polyvinylpyrrolidone with average molar mass 360,000 in an amount of 14-16% by weight, carboxylmethylcellulose in an amount of 1-3% by weight, extract from dried grapefruit pomace in a water-glycerine solvent, containing not less than 1200 mg of naringin per 100 ml of extract in an amount of 0.5-2% by weight, menthol in the amount of 0.05-0.15% by weight and non-alkonium chloride in the amount of 0.01-0.03% by weight.
